We have researched the topics and packaged them into a user friendly presentation which we then collaboratively work through, incorporating people’s knowledge, wisdom and insight so that they can take home and apply to their unique family situation. Ideally, we hope you end up with a group that meets regularly to continue to support and encourage each another in your parenting after learning together in one of our courses.
There are a wealth of parenting courses, blogs, websites, books, suggestions & ideas…the resources are endless and most are good and helpful.
Mothers Union Sydney is passionate about helping parents, within their own unique family, to intentionally apply these wonderful resources and to seek to do so in a way that honours God as the author and creator of families.
Given the Bible has wonderful principles and some directives but no detailed blueprint for family life, we have pulled together solid, well researched, accepted knowledge from social sciences, psychology and neuroscience and packaged it to work specifically for Australians and their families. We have designed the courses to maximise the sharing of wisdom, experience and insight from course attendees.

Single Session Seminars
2 hours - 4 different topics available - $10 per person
delivered in person or via Zoom
These can be run for larger groups, up to 90 and include breaking into smaller interactive discussion groups. Great outreach events to run at your church, playgroup, during Mission week or at your public school.

Explaining how to encourage healthy and positive brain connections in children and adolescents.

Exploring how to wisely parent your teen as their brain undergoes the adolescent restructuring.

Exploring how to parent wisely in a rapidly changing world.

Considering how to encourage children’s resilience during infants, primary and adolescent stages.
Understanding Kids.
Explaining how to structure teaching for 3-12 year old children to ensure it is age appropriate.

Mini Seminars
30 minutes - Different topics available - $10 per person
delivered in person during a regular event
We also offer mini seminars which focus on specific topics, such as communication or parenting styles, that work well during established programs such as a playgroup.

Parenting Tools for all Seasons
4 week course - 2 hours per session - ideal for 10-16 participants - $10 per person/session - in person or via Zoom
These are run for smaller groups and include breaking into small interactive discussion groups.
