Resources for the Journey
Journeying Together was the theme for the most recent MU Australia Conference. The Conference provided a great opportunity for leaders of MU from all dioceses in Australia to meet with and encourage each other.
It also reminded us that we are on a journey and that one of the features of a journey is that things change as we go along. However it showed us that in MU we are not alone. We have fellow travellers, not only from all around Australia, but from other parts of the world as well. In fact we currently are journeying in the company of 4 million MU members, from 81 countries around the world.
This means we have a lot of resources to draw on as we look for ways we can share Christ's love by encouraging, strengthening and supporting marriage and family life.
We can look at MU websites from around the world and see what they are doing. We can look on our own MU Australia website and see what other dioceses are doing in Australia and we can use ideas from other branches shared here on our MU Sydney site through our Branch Information section and Photo Galleries. In the Branch Information section, there is a book called Programming Ideas which you may find helpful, as well as a copy of our current MU Sydney Branch Handbook.
Our MU Office and Shop sell a variety of items which you can use to add variety to your Branch Meetings, or to help you run an outreach meeting to invite along people who aren't part of MU - yet!

Our shop is located at Shop 24, Town Hall Arcade, Sydney Square, and is open Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm.
