At St Mark's Berowra MU, one of our planning groups organised a "Wedding Memories" day. There was a beautiful display of wedding dresses, photos, and other wedding memorabilia. A lovely morning tea was enjoyed by all and was made more special by the cutting of a cake by a couple who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. After morning tea the ladies walked to their seats for the meeting accompanied by the wedding march.
Our Bible reading was 1 Corinthians Chapter 13, and the hymn was "O Perfect Love". Two ladies shared with us their special wedding memories, one of whom was celebrating 69 years of marriage, and the other who was married in India.
All agreed, even the husbands who were present, that it was a worthwhile and enjoyable morning
