As part of the world-wide the Mothers' Union, MU Sydney members work in many areas of our community.
These areas include:
- visiting new mothers in maternity units
- supplying garments to many hospital neo-natal wards
- serving morning tea at children's courts
- visiting people in aged care units
- paying part time MU Workers in parishes to minister to families
- supporting the Chaplains at the Children's Hospital, Mullawa Prison, and the Juvenile Justice Centre
- supporting work with indigenous people at Redfern
- publishing Bible studies and books on family topics
- holding seminars on topical social issues
- running parenting courses
- holding regular meetings for teaching and discussion
- praying daily for our communities and each other.
